What can I say about Akayla.... I can’t even put into words how truly and incredibly brilliant she is. I have known her for years and I can say from the bottom of my heart that she is a very patient, driven, and creative human being. When we did our Christmas mini’s with her a couple of weeks ago, I was so nervous! We had our five month old along for the ride and I was terrified that at some point a meltdown would pursue. Little did I know that our sweet girl would absolutely love Akayla!

She couldn’t take her eyes off of her. Akayla has a very nurturing and calming personality which made our first professional shoot as a family an absolute breeze. Working with Akayla on our Engagement Photos was an absolute blessing! She went above and beyond to make sure both of our personalities were captured throughout the shoot. From picking up a last minute clear umbrella for our shoot, to hair combing, lint picking, scoping out the best trees and trekking herself through a forest of weeds, dead leaves, and probably even some thorns..... she was committed to making sure every single photo was absolute perfection.

I have always been hesitant to take pictures because I feel that I am not very photogenic. The pictures Akayla took completely shattered that misconception. She captured through her lens the person I saw in the mirror but was never able to capture on film. She made the experience feel natural and put me at ease.
